Took our's last week. I called the closest dealer who said the could not get it in there garage, then they looked up the recall and told us that it was a simple fix and could do it in the parking lot. They ordered the parts and called about two weeks later to set up an appointment.
I drove it over(20 min) and waited the 45 min it took to install the new cable and lever. Very simple fix, any dealership should be able to do it.
X2. The dealer keeping it a week is BS! Made the appointment, drove it in, got it done in minutes and drove back home.
