Ford V10 gas mileage

This has probably been discussed before. Have a 2000 Minnie (24') & get 7.5MPG (Canadian gallons); is this normal. Have only had it a couple of months.
Thanks
  • I get 10.5-11 MPG...no cruise control...keep 55 or under...no real difference betweeb 48-55...

    That is over 10,000 miles...from Montana...North Dakota...Wisconsin...Minnesota and Illinois...

No, that is really bad for a Ford E350/E450. We get about 10 MPG (Imperial Gallons, or 8 MPUSG) with a 2004 Ford E450 28 foot AND pulling a 2500 Lb Toad.

Are you sure it is not 7.5 MPUSG?
  • Ours is also a 24' and as of our last trip, we averaged 8.3 mpg. This was on hills, averaging 60 mph (no tow).
  • That sounds really good, hope it keeps up as the miles build. I've averaged 8.2 US miles per US gallon over 31,000 of those miles.
  • How fast? What kind of terrain? What is your total weight?

Is it current on maintenance? Are the tires at proper inflation?
