ford v10 tranny help please

Might try disconnecting the battery and waiting a minute or so and reconnecting it. Sometimes electronics act like windows and need rebooted. Worth a shot.

So my solenoid is stuck telling it to stay in 1st

No tow haul light at all

Jezzum. It is not the 5 speed and there is not auto brake. The parking brake will have absolutely nothing with fall-back to limp mode, first gear. Any codes flashing? Edit: Not likely a 5 speed being 2005 even though you may have one. do you have OD on/off or Tow/Haul?

I did notice parking brake on 1 click. No drag just the brake light on?

That should be a 5R110W, is the check engine light on? Is the tow/haul light flashing?
I'm going to guess it's a blown solenoid, which means a trip to the trany shop.
