Forward kitchen?

Husband and I looking to upgrade our gasser to a DP. Looking at resales and I see many of the forward kitchens models. Is this an indication they are not popular to keep? Anything I should be aware of should we go that direction? We are leaning towards the Winnebago/Itasca. Thanks folks!

    Besides the weight issues, it makes the front seats less usable... To far from the other seats to carry on a conversation. I'm afraid it will go the way of the side door. If you keep a rig a long time and you like the layout, go for it.

    I seem to remember something about Winnebago/Itasca. having weight issues with the front kitchen models.

    Get your front axle weight rating and insist upon weighing the coach before purchase.

    Forward kitchen is in almost every mfg's floor plan options so it has become quite common. Can't say it would help or hurt resale.

    my 2013 Itasca Ellipse GD has the front kitchen and we love it. We did not want the bath and 1/2 and we wanted the large TV and lounge area.
