The F350 front end uses coils and has incredible drive handling with the heavy duty Roadmaster stabilizer. Addititional leaf springs were added to the rear for load and 3inch lift. The kit also increased the wheels to 17inches with tires the match well without any rub for additional height.
No cons just don't get too aggressive or overconfident. Our previous posts list the advantages. As always when navigating rough terrain have a spotter watching your line and undercarriage especially the levelers. We have not had any regrets. That said its not an expedition vehicle with the coach on an independant from the frame.... But to get into some nice forest and BLM road spots is the great mix of capability clearance and comfort. Having the 4x4 and not having to chain up on mtn passes is huge for us in Colorado as well as snowy and muddy roads in general is added confidence and safety. We have used 4 low to creep into camping spots and roll up onto rock blocks and such. Some spots require easing up and down small ledges getting into a nice canyon overlook that when it's really helpful. We are very careful!!
It's extremely stable and easy to drive on the highway, the tuning radius with the F350 front end is a dream.... You won't believe how much more maneuverable it is.
