I have a Freightliner chassis (Itasca Horizon) diesel pusher with a rear radiator. On the upper left corner of that radiator is a yellow tag with instructions (8 steps) on filling the coolant system....

6. Close petcock at heater loop outlet valve when it begins to flow a steady stream of coolant. Do not allow more than 1.5 quarts to escape.
7. Open heater loop outlet valve.
