You can add a little chlorine bleach into you hose before you hook it up. Introduce it into the tank let it set for awhile and run it through the faucets untie you smell the chlorine, then rinse out all with fresh water. I. Like to use wate from a municipal supply. For the amount of bleach to use look on line or you can call Clorox and use 5% standard stuff--no scented. This is pretty much how. There will be others who have little tricks to do it easier
