Freshwater tank during long storage
Will be storing our Winnebago Vista for 6 months, so is it better to leave water in the freshwater tank, or drain completely?

Drain the tank. You can't grow anything on nothing. 6 months later I would fill the tank with a bleach mixture, flush the lines, empty and refill with fresh water and you are ready to go again.
