- wildflowerpowerExplorerI am looking at the tank.
How would I fix the back feed? Tightening something? Or maybe the pressure from the city water source is too high?? - gboppExplorerOn our 96 Southwind, there is a valve near the water inlet that allows you to fill the tank or use the water directly from the source.
Check for a valve, it's probably set to fill the tank. - Water back feeding through the pump is a possibility.

Our freshwater tank has never been filled up by us using the outside(and what I thought was the ONLY) way of filling it up, yet occasionally I find the tank to be almost full or half full...whatever.
Does anyone have any info on how water could be getting into the tank??
Are you relying on a tank monitor/gauge (notoriously inaccurate) to determine how much water is in the tank, or are you actually looking at the tank, to determine water level ?
