On our chev based B, a home depot plastic storage bin is the same height and fits between our seats....the dog often sits up there on her bed.

I imagine you could find similar and then a pad over top to make for a smooth surface.

it's gotta cost less and the storage bin will be useful for the kid during daylight hours.
