Front Window Vent Visor

I've searched but cannot find anyone that has these things on their roll down RV windows to keep the rain from coming in when the window is rolled down like a half inch to let air in. Since our rig is a class b I think they might help? Anybody?

Here is what I'm looking at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000182EUA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

thanks,
Shari
  • While I do not have a set of AVS Ventvisors on a class B motor home, I do have a set on the front, and rear windows of my 2004 Silverado. After having them, I would never go without. They allow me to roll the windows down a bit for ventilation, and not have worry about the weather, and my door controls getting wet. The quality is great, and I simply wax them when I wax the rest of the truck. They still look new after 10+ years.

I'm not exactly sure what you were asking, but hey....I gave it a shot.

    Enjoy,

  • I’m just trying to find out if anyone has them on their rv. Sounds like they will work fine. But still kinda curious why every rv doesn’t have them?
  • Every class C doesn't because the cab over covers the windows by about a foot or more, might be good for B's. When we had a B we used the roof vent with a vent cover on it.
  • We have a B+ (no upper frontal over-hanging bunk) so the panoramic view is free and clear. I fear the vent visors will be in the way of our sight-seeing view. I could see myself tossing them in the trash during our first beautiful drive.

But I really like the "functionality" of the door window visors. It is a matter of each person setting his own priorities.
  • Hmmmm....I hadn’t thought about them interfering with our view. Which of course we luv.
    Thanks
  • just had chat with 'real truck' folks and they have weather tech at $75 show 2 other brands price unk. Weather tech mount in window so no tape to mess with, I do have AVS on my F350 and ranger, but tape dries out eventually.

  • Do they affect your view out the side windows? They don't look that big, so trying to decide.
