Thor Super C, 2014 - UPDATE - I left Houston Friday and spent that night in Lake Charles with gen running the entire time for a/c since it is hot here this time of year. Was not sure how the fuel economy was gonna work out but I am pleased. I generally drove 70 mph, a few times 75 and lots of time 68 mph. When arrived back in Houston the meter was showing 10.2 mpg which is better than my last gas rig that got between 8-8.5mpg. I am satisfies with this unit but still working on misc stuff, ie......was told gen runs off front tank and not back - WRONG! Seems it runs off the larger back tank and not the front smaller 25 gal tank, glad to lean that! :) Also, could not get the jacks to get power, had engine off, e-brake set - still now power. I will look at it later today or Sunday. This unit drives good and I do like it compared to my old gas rig. Plenty of power to get on the highway. All is well in Texas except it is hot. :) Jer in Texas - off to Florida in November
THIS POST SHOULD BE AFTER AND NOT BEFORE THE PURCHASE. :)
UPDATE! Engine MUST be running for the jacks to work! Awning nor slide will work with engine running but the extra juice is needed to operate the jacks. Oh fun, think of things you learn. :)
