I think there is a misunderstanding about a fuel pump cut off switch. When you first turn the key on, the fuel pump will pump for about 3 seconds to prime the injectors, and the injectors will pulse to drip fuel into the intake. Once you start cranking, the eventually fire normally. I have heard that some units have an oil pressure switch to sense oil pressure to turn the pump on for run mode, but I'm not sure all units did that. I think there is a time delay on the ECM that turns it back on again after it has cranked for a while. Some of how it is wired depends on year and ECM model. Even though you have a 1994 motorhome, your chassis may be older.
