fuel pump relay

2010 ford v10 George boy . please can some one tell me where to find the fuel pump relay
also where the fuel filter is located on this unit ? also were to ck fuel pressure on it ? thinks all> I know some one on here can help you all ways do
  • Unless someone has removed it, all Ford V10s have a frame mounted fuel filter.
  • I believe this is a demand fuel system vs recirculating fuel system and the fuel filter is in the tank. At least the newer ones like my 2013.

They are lifetime filters, which like it or not, is pretty much SOP for all demand systems on gas engines, regardless of brand.
  • Check the fuel pump inertia switch first. I believe it is located by the steering wheel.
  • Look in your Ford Chassis manual for the location of the chassis fuse and relay location. The fuses and relays are usually labeled at to what they supply. I would guess it is under the hood, in the front.
  • The fuel PUMP is in the gas tank. The filter is along the frame on the drivers side a little farther back than the engine. It's an inline filter and you will need a small plastic tool to release it from the line at each end. Not sure where the relay is located.
  • The fuel filter is in the gas tank. If you are having fuel problems you should call Ford as there is a 5 year warranty on the Ford chassis.
