Fuel pump voltage?
Dropped my fuel tank to install new fuel pump in my 97 Bounder with Ford 460 engine. Before reinstalling the tank I checked the voltage at the pump pigtail. I had 6.67 volts. Anyone out there know ...

The power to the pump is also the power to the strain gage which supplies the fuel level. While 6.67 seems like a good number for a fuel level I cannot see a supply voltage (looking at the diagram now) without an energized fuel pump relay and pump with a closed inertia switch.
