We have friends that had a 2007 Monaco Signature with a full wall slide on the driver's side. They never had any kind of problem with it. They sold it as they got out of the RVing lifestyle.
Personally, I wanted four separate slides just because that's what I like. The only issue with a full wall on the driver's side is that you will have to duck under the slide to connect the water, electric and sewer if you put the slide out first. No big deal really.
I think it boils down to what floor plan that you like best. There has been a time or two when we would not have been able to put out a full wall because of an electric post, tree or some other obstacle. But again, not a big deal as it doesn't happen often.
Buy and drive what YOU like.
