The Palazzo was plagued with full wall slide issues. A few things to note, the slides in question regardless of brand are the Schwintek. These mechanisms do fine on smaller slides but I think the general consensus is that this brand of slide mechanism is not robust enough for a full wall slide. If you look at new MH's with Schwintek full wall slides, you will notice a double set of rails at the top. This is an ad-on to attempt to handle the extra weight - a reactive measure to the problem, not proactive. Doesn't give me the warm fuzzy to know that's how they addressed the issue. And although the slide issues on the Palazzo really gave Thor a black eye, problems are surfacing on other brands as well. I know Winnie models with full wall schwintek slides are really having issues coming to light. So, for me personally I would avoid any brand (not just Thor) with a full wall Schwintek. When that warranty expires you have a long life ahead of you to take a risk on a mechanism that has had known issues in the full wall category. I would look for a different floorplan or a manufacturer that uses another brand of slide mechanism. I know Newmar has their own ( no idea how they perform - I've heard stories on theirs too and that's a proprietary system so I am not certain any shop can work on them) and of course the higher up the chain you go, they get more robust.
