- GjacExplorer IIISounds like they come both ways. But in order to have pass trough compartments the storage bays must be part of the MH body and not on the slide. I would think that this would be hard to get to when the slide is out. That is if you have bad knees.

Only if it's on the driver's side! Mine is on the passenger side, so no problem there. To us, the big advantage of the full wall, rather than two smaller slides on that side, is that it eliminates the bottleneck that many coaches have in the middle (when slides are out).
We also have the full wall on the passenger side. It is nice for it to be on the curb side! My pass through full tray pulls out beyond the slide as well to make it easy to get the stuff. Stuff is important.

The first one was a 2005 Fleetwood Providence. The storage compartments were part of the slide and thus no pass thru. The reduced storage in this unit was due to the chassis configuration and not the full wall slide. We now have a 2011 Itasca Ellipse 42QD. I believe it is advertised as having the largest (or close to it) storage area on the market for a 42' unit. Yes the plumbing and electrical bays are under the slide but it has not been a problem. Just do your hookups before deploying the slide and disconnect afterwards. Or look on the bright side....for those times that you need to dump the tanks in the rain you an squat under the protection of the slide and not get wet. :)
- Mr_Mark1ExplorerGenerally, a full wall slide does not affect the basement storage space. The one thing it does do is it covers the wet bay area when extended. So, if you are connecting the electric/water/sewer/cable, you might want to do it before you put the slide out so you won't be ducking under the slide.
I haven't seen a full wall slide where the compartments are attached and move with the slide. In that configuration, you don't have full pass-through storage.
