I have a 1997 American Dream with a Gillig chassis.
My front end seems to float to much and in a dip sometimes bottoms out.
I was going to have the front shocks replaced at Camping World but was told that they are Koni adjustable shocks, they want $300.00 each and an hour a side to put them in.
Had a big fight with Camping World over some brakes that were repaired incorrectly, (CW Brake Repair) fought the battle and got a total refund off $1,700.
Just ordered the correct shocks from Gillig for $189.00 each, and a local spring shop will install both for one hour labor.
Part number for a 1997 American Dream is KONI part # is 88-1458SP2.
They cannot be drop shipped when ordered through Gillig, so they have to go from Kentucky to California to New York, Four weeks shipping time.
