Stayed at a nice KOA in Richmond Hill Ga last night.
We had been there before and were looking forward to returning. From the Big Rigs book we selected site 36, and reserved it. We then had the problem with the starter and called and canceled.
We then got the work around and called back, but that site had been given away.
Because of our length, and because the remaining sites were small they offered to allow us to stay in their "overflow" parking, in front of their office at a reduced rate. There was no sewer and the electric was 30 amp, but it was 33 degrees so no need for A/C, There was water, but it was suggested we not use it as the temp was to go down to 22
Here are some shots.
Overflow parking spot

Office, small store, laundry, showers

Pool with the lake in the background

The actual camp ground, a little tight but a true campground atmosphere, good hookups

Stopped at another RV Service Center (Camping World) to be winterized for the trip into the epic winter storm in the north east. If I had not been watching over their shoulders they would not have cycled the washer machine to get antifreeze into the pump of the washer. The neat thing is they tell me if anything freezes CW will pay to fix it????
