furnace blower

The LP furnace blower in my 2002 Winnebago Adventurer will not start.
If the blower does not start the furnace will not lite. I think it
is a voltage problem.
  • A complete LACK of voltage, maybe.
A meter is required and tests need to be made.
It is also possible that the fan motor itself has failed.
  • First place to start is the breakers and fuses. Next go with a meter and FIND OUT if it is indeed a power problem.
  • Make and model of furnace?
Look for a circuit breaker on top of fan housing. Should have small reset button either red or white.
  • MAIN DC FUSE>.........good or blown. Test it not just look at it

Then if Atwood brand check on/off circuit breaker in furnace compartment on frame in front of motor. Tripped/reset it and see if fan runs

IF Suburban brand check for 12V DC to time delay relay and on Red wire to motor.......no 12V DC then replace time delay relay
  • Might be an issue with your thermostat - if the prior owner upgraded to a digital thermostat then it might be as simple as replacing the battery inside the thermostat.

Edit: You should also note that your furnace fan won't operate if your coach batteries are dead/too low.
