The right concept, but I would not use sheet metal screws. The actual fuse block appears to be attached to some kind of mounting bracket/base plate. The base plate cracked because of weight/vibration. You may be able to take that whole thing off, remove the bracket/plate and have someone make you a new one.
What is that metal piece it is bolted to ? Can you get to the backside of it ?
If you can get to the back side, I would start by drilling a couple of holes
(1/4" if possible, #10 at minimum) through the bracket/base plate making certain you don't hit any wire that may be on the back. Drill through that piece of metal that the bracket is bolted to.
Now from that back of that piece of metal insert a #10-1/4" machine screw and tighten it down with nut. You now have a stud you can mount the bracket/base plate to. Use nylock nuts on top.
