We went out west this summer with our `17 35 QBA Tiffin. On one or two long hills I could have had a diesel. Otherwise we did well. The biggest issue I noticed was access to fuel pumps. Diesel pumps were by far more accessible than gas for a large motorhome. Something to keep in mind.
That is the other reason I got rid of our gasser. Had to check out the gas islands at the service station as it was a lot harder to pull in and get gas at an island that was designed for a car.
X1, using a fuel island that is designed for vehicles larger than a car is my 1st choice.
