Can we discuss pros & cons re gas or diesel? We're still looking at Bs. Some are gas, some diesel. We don't like the higher $/gal of diesel because it would offset any real savings from the higher mpg...

If I had the money, and they were available right now, I'd get a Transit based unit with the V-6 eco boost engine.
I figure this is the best of all worlds. Generator and engine drink from the same fuel tank. The gasoline engine would not be penalized in the high altitudes because of the turbo chargers.
An added bonus, there are a lot more Ford dealers spread across this country than Mercedes Benz and Freighliner dealers combined.
