$3.339 at the Town Pump out by I-90.
$3.379 at Don's Express about 4 miles down the road.
BUT, at Town Pump the regular is 85.5 octane.
At Don's, the regular is 87 octane.
AND, it is false economy to drive a nearly 20 mile round trip to save 4 cents a gallon on gas!
Burn $5 worth of gas to save about 50 cents? AND get lower octane gas?
Only if I am headed for the freeway anyway!

I have been buying Costco gas since I found out that the station near my work opens at 6 am! Only one set of pumps (we can not pump our own gas in Oregon) but there is rarely much of a line in the mornings. The line is 5-8 cars deep in the afternoons, people wanting to save $0.20 per gallon over the local gas stations!

Last fill up was only $3,48 for 92 octane. I get better mileage on 92 octane - so it is worth it to pay a extra 5% more to go 8% - 12% farther on a gallon.
