Gassing Up

First, I will use google maps and look at the route I am traveling and possible stops along the way. This way I know how access is in and out. Try to stop at stations that have pumps parallel to the store and not facing it. Also, I don't get fuel in bigger cities unless a necessity as they are usually more busy. Time of day is usually another thing I consider. Usually will fill up every 300 miles or so as long as it isn't during rush hour (morning, lunch, evening).
