In 11 years of filling up my 33 ft Class A MH and tow car I have had to back up or disconnect about 4 times. These were at smaller stations whose pumps face the building and I could not pull the MH up far enough to fill the tow car and still get out. It is not the end of the world to disconnect the car and have your wife fill the tow car while you fill the MH. She can fill it up and I can reconnect before the MH is filled. Like others I normally look for Flying J's because they are easier to get in and out of and are normally cheaper, but if there are none around with a 30 ft MH I would not worry about it.
