I've never had an issue with my 35 foot gasser towing. You'd be surprised how well you can maneuver around, it's all about your comfort level. Most gas stations are well oriented for a good in/out in at least one of their lanes. I don't spend any time pre-planning gas stops, I stop when I need to.
