Gen will not turn of

there is a on/off on the dash and the main on/off is on the gen itself. Use the one on the gen and it should shut off.

Neither of these switches worked on my Mountain Aire, consequently the only way to shut it off was to pull the fuse for the genset.

I had a similar problem on my Mountain Aire. I never found the source of the problem, but the only way I could shut off the genset was to pop the fuse. The on/off switch did not work.

I wonder if the generator is still running?? :h

My generator has an on/off on the unit.

If it's a diesel maybe the fuel solenoid won't close.

Assuming that you're referring to the switch inside the coach as the "main switch", try going to the generator and shutting it off right at the generator.

Suspect a bad switch or a stuck relay.
I would pull the switch and pull the wires off first.
