Gen won't start, lights don't work unless on shore power

Having some strange issues with my 07 Georgetown 350DS. It has an RV Guardian 6500 and we are on a trip and when we unplugged this morning from our 50amp service nothing works anymore... Fridge, wat...

Batteries are showing 12volts when not plugged in to shore power. But even if they are low shouldn't my generator start an run when my engine is going? I know in the past I have killed my house batteries over night running my heater when dry camping then started up my Motorhomes engine then I can start up my generator that way. I'm just stumped.
