Just to be clear, you unhooked and nothing worked. Did you rebook and things worked? You then tried the generator and it won't turn over? Not that it turns over but won't run? The switches that control the house and chassis battery, often found at the door but sometimes on dash are all in the on position.At first it sounded like a transfer switch malfunction but if the generator won't even turnover, I assume clicks, then you have a 12 volt battery problem and even with low charge at least a house light should turn on with 12 volt. You have replaced the large fuse. I had circuit breakers in the battery compartment on my other two coaches. They did not look like standard breakers. If everything worked before you plugged in and after it didn't work isolates the problem to perhaps something that got turned off. Make sure your connection to house batteries for the ground is did not detach. Very strange. Good luck. Others know much more than me. I am experienced with the simple solution first. Be interested if after a few hours of driving and charging of the batteries it makes a difference.
