General RV- good or bad????

Talking to General RV about a Tiffin Breeze, very good deal. Any problems with them, or any bad reports???
Thanks, the Muffin Man.

This is the first that I have heard of this issue so it is something to be careful of..... Are you saying that the policy was for an amount less than the remaining principle?
  • My son bought a 5er, toy hauler from them and wes pretty happy with General.

With any business, the bigger the business the more "mixed" the reviews will be. And if I'm not mistaken General is the largest dealer in Michigan.

Thus you will find folk who swear by them and at them.. And a few like me.

I do neither. I feel I got a good deal on the RV but I will warn you.

I am, however, dealing with it on another level.
  • In 2011 I purchased a new Winnebago from the one in Canton, Ohio. Except for the pricing, there is nothing good I can say about them, nothing.

  • It probably depends on the location. I would not recommend the one in Canton,Ohio due to the games they tried to play with me and their registration mess-ups. I'd be happy to tell you more if you'd like to hear about it. Just message me
  • Just bought our first MH from them recently. Had a good sales guy and finance gal. For the most part it was probably the best purchasing experience we had. Just watch at the end when they want to charge you more for documentation fees.

    The owners live in MI.
  • It is a very large family owned dealer with many locations. I suspect it depends greatly on who is managing the one you are considering.
