Thx. Yeah. The fuel line was bad. I put the new one in-all good on that now. The gas is flowing.
Would you have any thoughts on:
I actually have spark at the plugs, but it still won't fire. I followed a recommendation to use Seafoam in the carburator. Did that yesterday afternoon. I'll try turning the engine over today. Yesterday I squirted a little starter fluid in the cylinders, but no ignition happened when I tried starting. Then I just read that starter fluid is not such a great idea in cylinder.
So, at this point I'm a bit stumped. Long response...thx for reading.
Try this and there should be a couple of wires on the end of the fuel pump. One is for the oil level and the other for the oil temp. Disconnect both and then see if it will run. If it does, then try one at a time to see which and am betting on the OT switch, if this might be the case.
Maybe squirt some fuel into one of the cylinders initially and a shot of starting fluid at the air cleaner won't hurt either, as long as you don't keep doing it over and over again, with short runs, in between.
With the fuel delivery and when in doubt, run a section of hose to a milk jug filled with gasoline and thereby bypassing the fuel delivery system.
