To answer your other question:
One plug was dry and clean, the other has black crud like grease.
I'm beginning to think the generator is pretty worn. I pulled the carb off. It's glazed with junk. It's soaking in SeaFoam. I'll likely have to rebuild it the best I can. It's an obsolete carb. The cheapest replacement -last of stock- is $350.
With one piston cylinder crudded up, I may end up pulling the unit out of the RV for a better look. The spark I get don't appear blue-they're yellow ish. I think this will take some work.
