I think that is exactly what I am going to do, although it may take a couple 20 or 30 pounders to make it through a long racing weekend. And those cylinders are not cheap either, but less than a generator.
The Champion is nice but not perfect. No 220V outlet on it. It seems to be a true 110V generator. That makes it less attractive for me because I cannot run my house on it if needed.
