Has anyone tried the Geo Method to sanitize their tanks? I know it takes powder laundry soap, bleach and water softener. My question is... what kind of water softener do you use. Thanks, Tom
For some reason that absolutely escapes me Calgon is difficult to find in my neck of the woods. A perfect substitute is 20 Mule Team Borax, sometimes called washing soda. It makes the inside of the tank as slippery as a greased piglet. I have only found it in the dry format but I simply mix it with a gallon or so of warm water, add the detergent and dump in the black tank. A table spoon in a foot bath softens up the feet real well.
