I would leave it alone and drive it. Save your money for fuel. My '94 GBM pursuit gets about 8.85 MPG with a tail wind, 65mph. I would only replace the exhaust manifolds if they start to leak or get cracked. Mine are still original manifolds, and 20 years later they still are quiet and get the job done. I have thought about adding a free flowing muffler, but that will cost hundreds. Be sure to check the airbags that are inside of the coil springs up front. They usually only last about 3 years before they need to be replaced. You have a P30 chassis. If the airbags need replaced, skip that and put in something called a "super spring". It is a heavier coil spring designed for more weight. I'm saving my money for the fuel tank! Enjoy your new rig!
