I think there is a lot of speculation on the OP part. Why would coach net be responsible if you didn't transfer the coverage. To assume CW did this for you is a mistake on your fathers part. If CW had mentioned you were covered through GS then it was your fathers responsibility to make sure it was in effect immediately - either way.
The first thing I do before ever driving my rigs away from a dealer is make sure I have every insurance aspect covered and verified by me, not the dealer, and I'm not a intellect by any means. I don't think we have all the facts to just agree with the lambasting you did of Coach Net, and I don't buy it.
Personally I carry numerous policies. AAA - Coach Net - State Farm - extended coverage all that cover the MH and cars. Sure it's overkill but it hey all serve a purpose and give us a piece of mind that we have options if something like this comes up.
Look at it this way. Someone needing brain surgery and the doctor tells them your insurance covers it. You have it done and get a bill for $100,000 because the insurance actually didn't and your stuck with the bill because "you" failed to look into it yourself.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Everyone has a opinion. The simplicity in your summation is amazing.
