Glueing laminate to tile

just get a regular tile guy to fix the tiles

Laminate floors are designed to "float", ie they are not glued down. Unless you are talking about the vinyl strip flooring from HD that is self stick. Either seems like a step down from ceramic, I would fix the two that are broken. Time to find a new RV shop.

No way I would cover tile with laminate for a million reasons. Fixing tiles is not that hard. Break up the broken tiles, scrape it clean, a little thin set, set new tiles and grout. MUCH easier than installing a whole new floor and the result will be much better.

You are told wrong. Replacing a few tiles is fairly simple. Finding a match might be difficult, but you can usually find something very close if not exact.

I think I will just replace the tiles but it will likely be impossible to find matching tile so I will remove several in random pattern and put in a complementary tile. Any advice on adhesive?

I did a floor once that required a flexible thin set and grout. Supposed to be able to withstand 1/4" flex. It's more expensive but definitely worth it. I think I got it at Home Depot. I think it's made by snapstone. it's essentially polymer mixed in with the grout.

It's only hard if one doesn't know what they're doing.
Find an experienced tile guy - doesn't have to be RV related, it will be the same install as in a house or what ever.
They can often find older tiles to match for replacement.

Adhering any material to ceramic tile is a disaster waiting to happen. Taking up ceramic tile is tedious. Matching the tile, almost impossible due to dye lot changes. Getting the replacement tile to not be higher or lower in elevation would be a good task.
Put a throw rug over it.

OMGosh... replacing a couple of tiles is a piece of cake, if you know what you are doing. Find one of your neighbors that does it for a living, supply the materials, buy them a case of beer, and everyone will be happy. It shouldn't take a good tile man more than an hour or so. (then the time to grout)

The hardest part will be getting tiles that match due to dye lot changes.

If you can't find the same tile style, you can buy refinishing kits to color the floor. Or you can hire someone. Tile sizing should be standard.
