- Dick_BExplorerDid not replace with tile BUT my concern would be the flexing of the floor (if not really well made) which would cause the grout to crack and become unsightly and create a place for spilled liquids to hide out.
- sailor_louExplorerFirst be sure you can handle the weight of the tile/thinset/grout and the subfloor is solid. Tile does not flex and will crack if the floor is not rigid. I do not have any laminate flooring, but do have a combo of tile and carpet. A difference that I have noticed is that on my rig the rollers on the bottom of the slides over the tile are made or a hard rubber where the ones over carpet are steel. Good luck.
