gm 8.1 engine
I have 2006 fleetwood flair with 6000 mi need to add oil about every 900mi . I see no leak on the ground or gray or black smoke. Wayne

Go to irv2.com and post on the Workhorse Chassis Forum section. You will get great answers there. I drove 4000 miles in 2011 and only had to add 1/4 qt near the end of the trip. Not sure if this is actually normal or not. I am not a mechanic, but do believe that most engines will use/lose/burn some oil over time.
