GMC Birchaven 23' help. fresh water?

My niece just purchased a 1978 GMC Birchaven 23' and drove it from florida to my place in nebraska. The problem is she knows nothing about it.
Looks like a pain to dump the tanks.
My question is:
Where is the valve to drain the fresh water tank? I've looked everywhere.
I know there is a GMC forum somewhere but thought I'd try my luck here first. This board has never let me down.
Thanks.

  • Like "Alphamonk" stated, many of the older/smaller RV's housed their water tanks inside the coach, usually under a dinette seat. They also installed the drain valves in that same area. You should also be able to look underneath the coach and see tubes hanging down.
  • I had a 1974 GMC. If I recall the fresh water tank was under the seat in the very rear passenger side. There was a valve in there to drain the tank. Of course it will depend on the floor plan.
