Sounds like you're slowing down. I don't know your age & health conditions or type of camping you've actually done in the past, but no matter what you decide on, I think you're going to find yourself sitting in the new rig someday, reminiscing about the "good ole days" in the 38' MH. Creature comforts have become a major issue with my camping experiences the past few years. I have made every attempt at making it as easy as I can for myself, just to be able to go. For me, each year that passes brings new challenges in my ability to do the things I love.
IMHO, purchase what makes both of you happy, meets the camping experience expectations you require & maintains the critical "ease of use" factor.:)
