My motorhome (2001) came with Goodyear 19.5". One nail (not a bad tire) and one blowout...a hole, maybe the size of a half-dollar just east of El Paso on I-10. Of course, the inside rear tire, drivers' side. Bad tire? Who knows? about 4 years old at the time. (Sidebar: Coach-net had me back on the road within 2 hours. Lucky me...the guy arrived 15 minits after my phone call to Coach-net.)
Been running GY ever since. my 20,500# frame (Ford)....I run 80 psi in all 6 tires. GY customer service says my weights (supplied by a scale) 80# is fine...I could run less should I choose to.
ALL tires have problems somewhere, sometime. Goodyear bashers, Michelin bashers abound here. I personally ignore them.
