Goodyear Tire PSI Chart...

On the Goodyear Load/Inflation chart for RV tires (in my case: 245/70/19.5), there are weights shown in bold print followed by (F),(G),etc. My tires are "H" and that rating is not even shown on the line for my tires. It shows only 'F' and 'G'. It's apparent that Goodyear is 'calling' those weights with bold print to the attention of the reader but I have no idea what is meant by that. Can someone educate me regarding the 'bold' print? Thanks!

The BOLD is the MAX LOAD/MAX PSI for that size tire and rating (B, C, D, E, F, G, H)

Your 'H' in 245/70/19.5 has a BOLD (MAX LOAD/MAX PSI) of 4940# Single and 4675# Dual at 120PSI

The type answer I was looking for! Brief, to the point and clear!! Thanks, Old Biscuit.

Yes, your G's can hold more pressure than a H. In your size tire a F load range tire can only be inflated to a max of 85 psi which is good for 4080 lbs single and 3970 dual. A G tire can be inflated to 100 psi which is good for 4540 lbs single and 4410 dual. A H can hold more than 100 psi and more weight but you will need to look on the side of the tire to see how much higher (probably 120) and how much it can carry at that higher pressure as my chart does not list it.
You use the same table for your H tires as long as the weight/tire is less than the 4540 lbs single for a G.
