I just thought I'd ask what the 'difference' is between the lower cost Samson tires, and Michelin's? When it comes to both quality, reliability and one's life (I've heard some troublesome stories on blow-outs) is it really worth going the cheaper method? Since I'm newly retired and looking for my first Class A I'm at a point of perusing the many aspects of owning one, and tires/batteries and such are all part and parcel of course. For many years my wife and I have gone from a 5 week trip to the Yukon & Alaska (went all the want to Inuvik that trip) with living out of the canopy on the back of our pickup, to having a family, using a slide in camper on a 3/4 T truck, up to a 26' travel trailer when our kids where young, and now that the kids are older we have a F450 dually diesel pickup with a 10' slide in Arctic Fox (with slide), and now working our way to a Class A, now that retirement has caught up and the kids are gone. I assume many have gone a similar route, and we once again just did another Yukon/Alaska 5 week trip, and I have Continental tires on the truck, and we had 'zero' issues, with the truck or tires. Not sure if Continental makes a tire for the Class A models, but it would be one I may check out, since I've had good luck to date. It seems one can't go wrong with Michelin's though, as I've had them in the past too, and again, had no issues.
