I ran goodyear truck tires (I think G169 but not sure) for 9 years. I replaced them because DW was concerned about their age. They had no cracking of any kind on the outside, and the truck place where I purchased the firestone truck tires we're running now said the carcasses were in perfect condition, and that they would be recapped and resold to truckers. One of their guys suggested that RV tires are "special" to hold up to being parked for most of their useful life while truck tires are built to stand up to heavy use day after day.
