I imagine all of these things that draw on the battery (parasitic drains) should be disconnected when the trailer is setting at the shop awaiting its turn. Otherwise the battery gets run down...
I would have thought they would just remove the negative battery terminal when it is in the shop. Then they can just hook the negative terminal back to do their work...
When I purchased my 5th wheel that was the last thing they told me at the dealership was to remember about the parasitic drains when you get home...
