Wow. I have compared a gps to a radar, vascar, a stop watch and the calibrated speedometer of a patrol vehicle. Of all of the gps units I have owned, I have not found one to be inaccurate. I had no idea that gps units were so misunderstood. But it does explain why drivers turn onto railroad tracks.
