Looks good but pics can fool you. I would make any offer on condition that coach met my expectations after inspection and test drive.
If the coach has been properly maintained, I would give it serious consideration. Newmar has great build quality and a solid reputation. Reading your threads, I believe it is apparent you are really not sure what is right for you so this coach should be a great place to start and explore the RV lifestyle.
I agree...it is very difficult to determine the right choice when starting out. I typically would just go and buy the best I could pay cash for and feel good about that. In this arena, the best if very hard to determine. So I am leaning on your nice folks to point out some potential hazards and I do appreciate it!
I belong to several other forum type groups in fields whereby I can offer subject matter expertise but here I am a green pea! so thanks upfront for he genuine help. Hopefully I will be able to return the gesture regarding RV's to some Newbie down the road.
Really I am at the tail end of what I have decided as follows;
#1 Foretravel 07 and up 40'+ with suitable floor plan minus shiny interior and dated decor (hard to find)
#2 Nearly new Entegra Aspire DEQ as we really like the floor plan, decor, power train and almost Newmar construction by association
#3 an older until as listed here, saving cash expenditure, most recalls and mods complete by previous owner, allowing entry into RV'ing to learn true likes and needs out of a coach, relative decent resale and hey this one has a toad already attached. We would be willing to sacrifice layout and amenities for learning curve and savings.
So yes, we will probably venture down to see this gent with the 2009 Dutch Star and if it is good...make a solid offer.
